Japanese Movies for Every Enthusiast! myLot Discussions has anyone seen neon genesis Evangelion? for those who have seen it what are your impressions of its ending? does it satify you? for me it was kind of a mixed impression due to its strange and sad ending, what about you? Neon Genesis Evangelion- I really hated it, what do you think? No matter what anime internet discussion I go on, people always say that "you have to see evangelion, it's the best" and I just don't understand. It was long, boring, and so obviously trying to be deep that it's sad. it feels like that just slapped together a useless peice of crap and decided to label it "philosophical" to hide that they messed up. So if anyone can help explain this to me, please post. anime lovers....how did u feel about neon genesis evangelion i felt this was very deep shinji was a symbolic of everyones need to be known, understood, and accepted.what did u think. anyone else disapointed with neon genesis evangelion it wasnt as good as promised what anime got the best OST? I just thought Misato's first beer of the morning was a cute reference End Of Evangelion Just finished watching it. It's great ending to the great series. I loved the battles, it was sweet to watch Asuka going berserk on those new Eva's. Instrumentality part was good but I still liked it better in the original episodes. My head hurts from all those quick flashes because I'm sitting in front of computer monitor and cable of my earphones isn't long enough to pull far from monitor. I understood pretty much everything except the last scene. I have some theories about that but I'm not really sure...I guess it can be interpreted in many ways.Hell, I'm already downloading Rebuild Of Evangelion. Is it good?
How did you like End of Eva? RahXephon: Anyone else like this anime? I'm currently watching RahXephon on the anime network.I'm a sucker for mystery. I lap it up like honey, and while I've read a bit about it by surfing google...I was surprised to see it not mentioned here!For those who haven't watched this anime, the basic premise is about this boy who lives in a world that he believes has been ravaged by nuclear war -- only to discover that his city is one of the cities kept in a bubble by "aliens" in an ongoing conflict with the rest of the world.There's a deeper plot and overarching history to it all...and I'm not finished yet...but there it is.It has mechs in it, though even this is a little bit different from other animes with mechs in them.I've heard some people believe it's similiar to Neon Genesis Evangelion? But everything I've read about that series (I haven't had the chance to watch it yet)...suggests otherwise.What're your thoughts on RahXephon? What's Your Favorite Anime Series Ending? Just out of curiosity I thought I would ask to see what everyone's favorite anime series ending was. I personally liked Samurai Champloo. Unlike other endings everyone seemed really happy. It wasn't exactly what I wanted. ( I thought it would have been cooler for them all to continue on journeying together) But still a really good ending! I'm sort of comparing it to the ending of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Which was insane.... seriously.... Anywho! Please tell me your favorite! Have you seen the new movie Rebuilt of Evangelion?
